Multi-platform Editorial Layout, Print + Digital
Bespoke is a modern interior design magazine created for print, tablet and mobile formats. This quarterly magazine presents stories of modern and contemporary home and business interiors, furniture, textiles and architecture and serves as a resource for interior design professionals, architects, and design enthusiasts.

This project required the development of the magazine’s brand, article concepts and layouts. The challenge was to create a sophisticated branding and layout experience that could be translated across multiple platforms without limiting the readers’ experience.
The design and styling was created to appeal to those in the interior design industry as well design enthusiasts. Bold typography was used for the masthead and feature article's title to capture the reader's attention. The masthead's font was chosen for its clean, geometric look - fitting for the magazine's subject matter.
Didot was chosen as the font for pull quotes for its stylish look and to contrast with main body text's font, Helvetica Light
The digital experience was considered particularly important since many readers would be accessing the magazine via their tablets or mobile phones. As such, particular attention had to be paid to the fonts selected for this project – size and clarity were of upmost importance.
The mobile version’s continuous scroll layout was adapted to fit the device’s size constraints while maintaining the same elements as the other layouts.

The geometric shapes used throughout reinforce the interior design focus of the magazine and provide visual interest while complementing the images. Soft pinks and vibrant greens were used to evoke a sense of sophistication and charm.
